His travels for competitions have taken him from Maine to California. Orbit’s charm and competitive spirit make him a beloved figure in the canine sports community and an inspiring example of dedication and passion.
Meet Orbit, Border Collie
Coat and Coloring: Black and white
Appearance: Clean, well-trimmed, preppy, polished, neat and tidy (he always smells good, too!)
Temperament and Disposition: Orbit enjoys children and adult humans alike. Orbit has greeted and hung around with many other animals although little dogs and toddlers with lunch left on their faces seem to rank top on his list of a fun time. Orbit is not a “barker” (his bark is a humble “woof,” so speaking roles don’t really work for him). He is friendly, snuggly, smart, athletic, and confident.

About Susan
Professional Project Manager living and working from the RV full time
LinkedIn
Home is truly where we park it, and I have been fortunate to have company that respects my free-spirited nature during my freedom hours. I enjoy life’s unexpected surprises and I have felt this way about much of my professional career.
I started out as a college Field Hockey and Lacrosse coach for Division II Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. I have created an entire life where one thing led to another, and I went with the flow. The most important thing about my career is that it allows me to do what I love; helping others and learning new things, as they are encountered, along the way.
Oddly, the projects I manage for work are typically IT and operations related, but it seems in my personal life I run into many other types of projects; including dog training and RV renovation. While learning to haul the rig and work from my new moving home, I train Orbit to compete in Disc-Dog, a frisbee sport for dogs. In my free time I have been renovating and upgrading many of the fifth wheel’s living features. I didn’t like where my kitchen sink was located so I moved it. We now have a rolling island that can be moved for frisbee training in the rig! I have installed all new appliances and created a more open concept for the living space. I’ve learned to pack up, hitch up, and leave a campsite in record time in order to get to my next scheduled stop.
I am currently enrolled in the Animal Behavior Institute’s Service Dog Certification Program.
I have a background and received accolades in multiple sports including Nationally ranked Field Hockey Competitor, All American and Coach of the Year nominations, First Place Powerlifting, First Place Triathlons Sprint and Olympic distance individual and team qualifications, Bodybuilding, Disc-Dog and Disc Golf. I currently have my NASM, CPR, and AED certifications.
My dog is flashy, engaging, talented, and interesting. I am humorous, respectful, and creative. We make a powerful combination on any film project.
We look forward to working with you on a project soon.
